What we do
Environmental Education
Hands-on sustainability and education both in the countryside and the city.
Outdoor Activities
Activities ranging from green woodwork and bushcraft to orienteering and outdoor cooking.
Ecological Projects
We work with young people, businesses, schools and other partners to make projects a reality.
Partnerships
We work with educational and health organisations to use nature connection as a way to engage and inspire young people.
Access to nature
Nature access for youth in urban environments, with a particular focus on those who are excluded from such access for one or more reasons.
Knowledge sharing
Support for youth intent on working within their own communities to enhance environmental awareness. Providing them with links to businesses and resources.
Training
We provide training for schools and other youth service providers looking to enhance learning through outdoor education at all levels of schooling.
Mentorship
We offer mentoring to young people, giving them them the space to uncover their hidden potential and helping them find the tools to realise it.
Volunteering Opportunities
We provide volunteering opportunities for young adults wishing to work with young people in nature and enhance their work experience.
Youth support
We support the program participants’ wider personal, academic and professional development.
Creative Workshops
We enable nature-based skills through camps and workshops: green woodworking, bushcraft, sustainability education, orienteering, hiking, first aid tuition and more.
Employment Opportunities
NYCE helps older youth find employment, mentoring and develop entrepreneurial skills connected to the environmental sector.
